Making Imprinted Fondant Hearts

Tint store-bought fondant with gel paste colors to get the desired shade. Then, roll out and cut heart shapes using a cookie cutter. Press a 'fondant impression mat' (see below) to make impressions and let harden.

Decorating the Cupcake

Pipe frosting on to the cupcake and roll edges and pink colored sugar. Press a fondant heart into the frosting at the top.
